Serve

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

There are many ways to plug in and serve at Central, and we’d love to help you find a place that fits your unique gifts and heart. Whether it’s welcoming guests on Sunday morning, helping with children’s or youth ministry, supporting worship through music and media, or serving behind the scenes with hospitality and care, there’s a spot for you. Serving is a wonderful way to grow in faith, build relationships, and be part of what God is doing through our church family.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

If you’d like to get involved in serving, start by praying about where your gifts and interests might be used. Take a look at the different ministry areas—hospitality, children and youth, worship, missions, or behind-the-scenes support—and choose one that sparks your interest. Once you’ve found a good fit, reach out to the church office, and we’ll connect you with a ministry leader who can help you get started.

How do I volunteer with kids?

If you enjoy working with children and want to make a difference in their lives, consider serving in our kids’ ministry. Opportunities range from teaching and assisting in classrooms to helping with check-in, crafts, games, or special events. No matter your role, you’ll be helping kids grow in their faith in a fun and safe environment. To get started, reach out to the church office or Chesley Maeyaert, and we’ll walk you through the next steps.

How do I volunteer with music?

If you have a heart for music, we’d love for you to be part of our worship ministry. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or help with sound and media, there’s a place for you on the team. To get started, simply let the church office or Pastor Zakk know you’re interested, and we’ll connect with you about opportunities to serve and how you can use your gifts in worship.

How do I volunteer with students?

Investing in the lives of teenagers is a meaningful way to serve and make a lasting impact. In youth ministry, you can come alongside students by leading small groups, helping with weekly gatherings, joining in events, or simply showing up as a steady, caring presence. If you’d like to be part of this important ministry, reach out to the church office or Sam Corson, and we’ll help you take the next step.
